Tell the story…this is YOUR museum and it will be unlike anything else in Kansas. We also are looking for stories and people to tell those stories that will make the experience real for visitors – whether it’s the story of Greensburg, the Big Well, the tornado, or the story of Greensburg in the future. Everyone has a Greensburg story to tell – and we would like yours!

An unremarkable object may have a remarkable story that brings it to life.

Do you have photos of historic Greensburg? Did your ancestors help dig the Big Well? Do you have souvenirs or photos from the old Big Well gift shop or special events there? Do you have any object that you saved before the tornado, or that survived the tornado? Any object, small or large, whose stories strangers may find compelling.

Come see the plans for the new Big Well Museum, give your feedback and share your story!
